| Thanks to Victor Pereira for this report on the 2000 Northeast Insight Gathering All went very well Sunday Nov. 12th gathering in Worcester Ma. First and foremost I would like to thank Craig and Deb Van Batenburg for hosting this event at their shop. Participants included:
We had wonderful weather, plenty of snacks and drinks (thanks Deb), interesting info at Craig's tech center (thanks Craig) and great conversation (thanks all). I believe everyone walked away with a prize of some sort from the raffle or T-shirt giveaway. We also had a good laugh as we watched the Insight chase scene from the Michael Richard's show. The drive to Papa-Razzi restaurant was very picturesque (great job on mapping out the route Deb)as we drove through some very pretty New England towns. All the cars were Silver except for Alan (motorcycle magnet) Sweeny's Red #2871. Not only was he cut off by one during our poker run, he was also tailgated by another one for quite a few miles after we placed him at the end of our Insight train. Food at the Papa-Razzi was succulent, and the ambiance superb (save for the soccer team at the next table). :) Results of the raffle and poker run can be seen below. Hope to see you all again soon... say Oct. 14th 2001. (wink wink)
