The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada has announced their fifteen category winners for the 2001 Car of the Year Awards.

The Honda Insight won in the "Best New Green Vehicle category."

Honda also won two other categories, with the Honda Civic DX Sedan being named the "Best New Economy Car", and the Acura MDX being named the "Best New Luxury Sport Utility".
