Also, according to service bulletin 06-026 for the BMC/MCM upgrade (step 23 to be precise), upon completion they are to "center-punch a completion mark above the 14th character of the engine compartment VIN."
I never received the letter as my guess is the original owner has it, but the sample letter in the service bulletin also states that ..."In addition to the product update, we are announcing a warranty extension for your vehicle's IMA battery. The IMA battery is now covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first."
Still waiting for the parts guys to call and let me know they received the parts...
