Manufacturer puts two anchors there for a reason. Anchors are needed whether you have all-season mats or regular floor mats.
I wouldn't worry too much about ripping the floor carpet coz the bottom of mats should have some sort of high-resistance lining that minimize the movement. The anchors are more like "aligning" the mats at proper position.
If the floor carpet is that easily damaged, I guess Honda wouldn't make that, would they? I don't know...
