It also lists the following in the Manual:

"P1576 Motor Drive Module (MDM) Voltge Signal Circuit High input"
and
"P1576 Motor Drive Module (MDM) Voltge Signal Circuit Voltage problem"

This is an implication that the IMA battery is having problems so that is why, I suppose, the IMA light comes on. But it is not clear whether the 12V charging would continue or not. But I suppose it does continue or I could not have gotten 8 hours of use out of it. I did notice that the RED picture of the battery that comes on if you have 12V problems, did NOT come on at any time.
