Damage can be a lot worse than it looks on any car. I was in a pretty low speed accident (neither cars' airbags deflated), and while the only visible issue with my CRV was that the front license plate bent inward, it ended up having over $2,000 worth of damage to it, as there were a bunch of little cracks that you couldn't see. The bumper, grill, Honda H, and the side panels over the wheels, etc were all replaced. Luckily the other person's insurance paid
