Next up is tweaking the system to optimize the hybrid side for the diesel engine. It works well now but I think the blending of the assist could be improved a bit.
The tires I installed for Bonneville (Kuhmo 175/70R14) have a much higher rolling resistance than the stock Bridgestones. Mileage came out around 85 mpg. I'll have to go back to the stock configuration to see what the hybrid assist is really giving me. At 92 mpg without hybrid functionality I hope to see at least a few more mpg's with hybrid functionality.
