Check the thread about installing a cruise control on an Insight. This part of the instructions might satisfy your needs:
"start by removing the grommet on the heater control cable and running the two four wire connectors that you’ve removed from the wiring harness through this hole from the inside of the car to the engine bay. This is a very frustrating process. Take your time."
