Doesn't the Gen II have a light specifically dedicated to auto-stop like the Gen I does? I figured the idiot light was useful so that way people who were unfamiliar with this bring by design would be able to avoid the panic of their engine stopping. You'd think a mechanic would reconize the light in a second after a short drive and not be confused. I hope that isn't the only Honda dealer within 90 miles because they might have a good reputation with, say, an Accord or something but it seems they don't have a clue if they are ignoring key details when you describe the situation.
