02/10/2008 -- MAJOR FORUM UPGRADES IN PROCESS. Welcome to the new, improved InsightCentral.net Community! As you have certainly noticed, we have finished upgrading our forum software... but this is just the beginning. Several enhancements will take place over the next few months. These will include usability improvements for our users, as well an upgrade of our back-end for the Site Admin and the moderators' team.
02/2007-02/2008 -- MULTIPLE UPDATES. Various security and other updates were implemented on a regular basis. Tweaks to signature and profile features were also installed.
01/12/2007 -- FORUM SECURITY AND ANTI-SPAMMER UPGRADES. As you may have noticed, spammers have been increasingly targeting our forum, probably in part due to to the popularity and excellent placement of InsightCentral.net in search results. Another reason is that we implemented some very strict anti-spammer measures and many offenders were getting banned from our site. We think that part of the attempts are retaliatory, while we also acknowledge this is an increasing problem for any popular forum. As a result, we have implemented several new anti-spammer and pro-security measures: these include changing the registration process, increasing logging and improving overall security.
12/12/2006 -- ANTI-SPAMMER MEASURES INCREASED. Spammers are hitting popular forums hard these days. We have done all we can to block them and to prevent repeat offenders from being allowed in the forum. We will continue to implement further anti-spam measures.
10/01-11/01/2006 -- FORUM UPGRADES. Further security and usability upgrades have been implemented.
03/21/2006 -- SITE UPGRADES. Well, obviously I haven't been very good about updating this thread. There have been numerous upgrades over the past few years, the latest one taking place just last week. We have also added many new features, though most will go unnoticed by most users. Some of the enhancements include making the forum faster, as well as preventing SPAM and bogus registrations. We also always keep up with server and forum upgrades, to assure the best possible security. Hopefully my next update will be posted less than 3 years from now.

07/02/2003 -- SITE & FORUM POPULARITY. As most of you know, InsightCentral.net has averaged well over 30,000 hits per day
over the last several months. Our Online Forum is in great part responsible for this active interest, and we have reached another milestone: we now have over 300 members. Thank you all for your continued participation!
06/28/2003 -- SITE UPGRADES. Our entire site was moved to a new location, which caused it to be unavailable for a few hours. However, we expect our new servers and backbone to be more reliable than ever before.
06/09/2003 -- SITE UPGRADES. The entire site, including the forum, has undergone upgrades. Several fixes and permanent measures were implemented in order to ensure that the site will run as efficiently as possible, while also resolving our bandwidth issues. Thank you to all our users for their patience as we worked towards this goal.
03/30/2003 -- NEW FEATURES. Our latest enhancement:
Quick Reply. Some of you may have seen similar features on other boards. Instead clicking the "Post Reply" button (which you still can) and having to load another page, you can now scroll to the end of any post and write a Quick Reply (thus the name) right there. You must be logged in to use the feature.
Among the other improvements, newly registered users will be welcomed with a pop-up message containing tips about the forum. Numerous other enhancements have been performed, some of which may be more noticeable than others. Please let us know if you have any suggestions.
03/29/2003 -- FORUM UPGRADE. We are pleased to announce our first major upgrade to the InsightCentral.net Forum has been completed. In addition to several security enhancements, generally improved performance and faster loading pages, the upgrade will allow us to add several new features. Stay tuned...
03/25/2003 -- EXPANDED FORUM SUPPORT. Our redesigned help section (now available via the "Help" button at the top of every page) has been expanded, and we would like to ask that you consult this section
before emailing us with usability-related issues.
03/11/2003 -- MULTIPLE ENHANCEMENTS. Since the forum was launched and particularly over the last 3 weeks, we have added many enhancements that improve stability and give you easier access to posts and your profile information. We will perform our first major upgrade with the next 10-15 days.
