Throttle Smoothing Circuit- New & Ready to Install!
Hi Guys!
While making up my Throttle Smoothing Circuit for my Insight, I decided to make an extra while I was at it. Fixed 5.6 ohm; ends tinned, heat shrink tubing included for install. If interested, PM me.
Thanks!
Chris

Sounds interesting. Can you describe the real benefit of this? Is it intended to fix a jerky throttle? If so, would it benefit any Insight whether throttle engagement is problematic or not?

Hi Chris,
I was planning on making one of these for myself. Just curious- why did you go with the resistor instead of a 10k potentiometer?
Thanks, Rich

Hi Rich!
From what I read, the 5k ohm setting seemed to be the best all around setting. And now, after trying it for myself, it works great for me too. Plus, I found that no radio shacks (at least in the buffalo area,) carry 10k ohm variable resistors!

Yeah, Radio Shacks are not what they used to be!! I have access to a wide assortment of resistors at my work so I may try that route also, thanks for the info!
