Loved my Moon Discs on my Daihatsu Pyzar, while living in Japan... very clean look, and made a boring car just a little bit more exciting. They look great on the Insight.

Yes, I can sell you a single cover. Call me: my number is above. In the future, use red thread lock on the bolts and you won't have a problem.

Have you noticed any issue with wheel balance with these covers?

I presume they need to be removed in order to pressurize the tires?

No problems with balancing. They're an exact fit inside the lip of the rim, so no centering issues. 3 ways to go regarding filling:
1. Leave intact and remove covers for filling (not really recommended, just cuz it's a pain, and you have to re-threadlock every time!)
2. Drill 1/2" hole at valve and use longer stems or thread on the 1" extensions (available at all auto parts stores.) The tip sticks out.
3. (My favorite and what I do on my car.) Keep the stock short stems. Drill the 1/2" hole at the stem location, and cover with 1" round silver stickers (sheets available at walmart in the school supplies section.) To fill, peel off and toss the sticker. Pull the 1" stem extension out of your glove box (where I keep mine,) Stick the extension into the hole and thread it onto the short stem for filling. When filled, unthread the extension, and slap a new 1" round silver sticker over the hole (I also keep the sheet in my glove box.) Done! You can also use the aluminum tape (used for duct work. Cut 1" circles.) This works well too, and either way, you can hardly notice the small sticker over the hole!

That kind of thing should NEVER happen! At what speed did it happen?

I`d like to see how the discs are mounted to the rim...

The discs are mounted to the rim using 3 s.s. screws each. They will never come off accidentally, as long as you have red threadlock on them! I've sold many of them over the last few years, and every buyer loves them!

It happened because they were only fastened with tape for a show. Had they been attached properly, it would have been fine.

That information brings a different light into the game
Anyway i would have liked to know how the discs are attached to the rim.
Do you have to drill holes into the rim? Can you post some pictures?
