Default 2000 MT Red Insight For Sale

Hi everyone, new to the board here but figured this would be the best place to offer this very special hybrid.

Heres the specs:

-2000 Red 5spd manual
-92,171 current miles and im using it almost daily
-Clean Title and Clean Carfax (have both in hand)
-Dealer maintained locally at Desert Honda in LV
-IMA Battery assembly replaced by Honda at 65,231 miles
-All original and stock (No paintwork, all original body panels and matching vin tags)
-West coast car its whole life, No Rust!
-Car has A/C, and all the standard power options
-Front brake pads and rotors replaced at 80k
-New Rear Bridgestone tires, fronts are still good

The bad:

-Driver side mirror has a scuff (previous owner)
-Small dent above driver side rear wheel panel (can be removed with paintless dent removal)
-Normal wear and tear chips on the front end from highway driving.

The gas mileage you will get with these cars is incredible. Im averaging 52-54 around town driving and 60+ on the highway. This car has no problem getting 500+ miles out of a single tank of gas.

Asking $6,900

I have a replacement passenger window trim on the way, so that solves one of the cosmetics. Also curious from some board members about what they feel the car is worth? Any feedback would be nice, but not intereted in getting bashed on!

Hi

First - you asked what folks think it's worth. I bought my Insight a year ago, and the bank had no problem with financing $10,000 for it. It's a 2003, had 95K, and an automatic transmission, for reference. I think it went for a bit more due to the California car pool stickers, but that wouldn't impact the bank's assessment of value. I think you could get at least $9,000 for it if not more, especially if you're in the L.A. area at all.

Second - do you happen to have the part number for the window trim you replaced? I'd like to replace mine, but haven't seen or been able to track the part number very easily.

Thanks!

Z Junk,

Thanks for your input. I'd be thrilled to get what you think what my car should go for, but im realistic and think i priced it fair. Just hope someone gets it who can appreciate it.

Not sure what side you need to replace but heres the part numbers for both:

Right side: 209546
Left side: 209548

Seem to be getting more interest from the LA area than locally, but generally doesnt seem to be a great time to sell any car. Good thing im not pressed for a quick sale.
