Default 2005 Insight in SE Michigan

Just spotted this one in the paper. Might be worth a look for anyone hunting for a later model Gen 1.

Private party price per KBB is about $12,185.

Even though this from a dealer, I wouldn't pay more that $12,000 total "out-the-door" price.

My Insight is the same year and a CVT and had almost exactly the same miles when I bought it in the Fall of '09. I love it and me and my wife just drove from SE mich. to NY City and back on the cheap. I bought mine from Victory Toyota in Canton for 13,000 and it was listed at the same price as the one above.

I looked on line last month and found a 2006 Insight CVT for $13,800 with 28,000 miles in Washington State. They weren't willing to budge on the price.

I talked to Victory a couple days before I bid on the 2002 CVT I picked up in Chicago. Paid $8,300 for that with 46,500 miles on it (plus the $130 plane ride).

I threw this in here because it looked cheaper than Motorwerks in the upper Midwest by a couple thousand dollars. As always with a dealer, the asking price is a little high. At this mileage and age you might get a few months warranty out of them.
