Buying New 2010 Insight - Honda Incentives

Today, April 30, 2010 is the last day of the latest Honda manufacturer incentives. Most of the ads talk about a lease deal or special financing.

There is also, not really advertised, a $750 manufacturer to dealer rebate from Honda on the Insight, expiring today.

I looked on Truecar.com which shows the $750 line item (not obvious, but it is there on the table showing the dealer holdback and invoice prices).

A salesman at a Honda dealership also mentioned the $750 when I asked what purchase incentives are available from Honda.

Is a rebate on a new 2010 Honda Insight unusual?
Should I jump on this, or have these type of rebates been in place all year.
