2000 5 sp w/ 124k miles, needs IMA
Hi fellow Insight enthusiasts,
I have a 2000 silver Insight 5-speed with 124k miles for sale.
The IMA battery, battery control module, and motor control module all need to be repaired/replaced. It also has a salvage title.
Even without IMA, the car is running wonderfully (could be driven indefinitely) and still gets better gas mileage than most cars on the road.
I have driven the car for two years, including several long trips, without issues. Everything else is operable and wonderful. If you have the ability to take care of these discreet, albeit major, issues, you will have a great car.
