If I remember correctly, it was a Gentex mirror I purchased on eBay.

Thanks, the mirror is NOT specifically made for the Insight, it required changing the metal mounting point(not an easy job!). Power was tapped off 12V outlet.

Was thinking of doing just that! I just got my CR-Z 2 days ago, and will write my impressions in a new thread after driving it for a little while longer. So far I'm VERY pleased with it but I will always have a soft spot for my first generation Insight!
