For the MIMA foot pedal, it was originally so soft and so easy to push all the way down, I could not get a "feel" of the pedal pressure so I added a thick spacer between the spring to make it progressively harder to press down. There is now a sweet spot that gives me about 4 bars of assist that is easy to hold with light foot pressure.

Priced reduced to only $9,999 for Insight Central folks. Playing parking attendant in the morning and evening with GF's car and limited garage space is getting old real fast. This Insight is a solid value considering what other similar vehicles are available in the U.S. I believe you'd have to go far to find a 2006 MT as well-maintained and clean as this one. PM or phone me at 440-339-4349 for answers to questions and/or for additional pics. If someone's been waiting for a late model MT at an attractive price, this is the one. Thanks for looking.

One question: Does this car only need a stereo head unit and it's full and complete then?

BMW already has it. They call it SMG. Move the lever and the hydraulics move the clutch for you.

Ferrari had it back in the mid 90's on their Mondial, called Valeo. This is not new.

To Ray, GLWS, seems to be a heck of a deal for someone out there. Perhaps ebay?

Regards,
Jerry

Yes, that is the only thing missing. Frankly, I think a prospective owner could easily buy an audio unit that is significantly better than the stock unit for less money. All my audio is on my iPhone so I never missed the radio/cd unit.

weird that no one's picked this up.

if I had a modest lotto win, I'd be stocking up on first-generation Insights

yahoo, or, as another suggested, ebay...? craigslist? best of luck

Just sold this morning. I'm officially "sans Insight". Ouch.
