Pics are good, but don't you think mileage and asking price (at a minimum) would be helpful to a potential buyer?

Regards,
Jerry

Howdy, neighbor. If you sell it to someone local, tell them to look me up!

What's the status of the IMA system - have the batteries been replaced? That will be important information for a prospective buyer to know.

He had it on ebay but didn't meet his reserve so it didn't sell. i have talked to him and car seems to be in good shape. The IMA battery was replaced by previous owner in 2009. I couldn't get up there to check it out. wish was closer so i could go check it out. It's 4-5 hours from me.

Mikey,
I would make it a weekend trip to check it out. This car may be a decent deal if it has new 144v battery with no accident history. Remember, only about 20,000 ever built, so it's not as easy to find as a Mustang.
Good luck!

I could check it out and give you an honest opinion if you'd like. The asking price is steep for 150k miles. Mine went for that with 100k miles, and even then I was reluctant - it just happened to be convenient and what I wanted.

I'm within a half a gallon of gas round trip from him, or 3/4 at most!

always, always, always check your local Honda dealer!

I dropped by our local dealer to peek and ask a person to alert me if a G1 Insight showed up...

...and it turned out they had received a G1 Insight in trade the day before. (I didn't even attempt to be stoic... more like Tigger, bouncing etc.)

I think it took me about 20-25 minutes to make a deposit (Had to check with spouse to ensure that amount needed was on debit card.) We bought the car several days later.

I'm idiotically lucky and I shall drive this vehicle as long as I can get away with doing so.

Incidentally, I got mine at 145k miles for $6k plus trade ('99 Civic w 195k miles) when gas was $2.99, give or take a nickel.

I saw gas at $3.20 or so this morning.

Maybe gas will level back down to $3 flat after Gadaffi decides to retire...

this isn't like buying a computer. I fear that anyone who takes too long to buy a 1G Insight is going to find themselves reaching deeper into their account...

and it's entirely probable that I'm just talking out of my exhaust.
