Default 2001 insight for sale-asking $8000

I'm selling my 2001 Honda Insight, (to go carless). I purchased it on ebay in 2/2009 with 85,610 miles. As of today it has 99,610. The vin# is jhmze13711t001017. I believe I am the 3rd owner. I drove it up from South Carolina. It is a 5 speed, silver, AC, power windows, stock radio. It has tinted windows from a previous owner. Other than some scratches and paint chips it is in very good condition. It got a new ima battery in 2010. I have complete service records of my time with the car. It has had all its scheduled maintanance. The current lifetime mpg is 49.1. It was less when I got it.
( the previous owners must not have cared about milage). I get 70mpg most of the year. It has never gone below 52mpg in wintery Cleveland Ohio.

The car has three minor issues: the windshield on the passenger side has some light scrathes from the wiperblade, (there when I got it). They were replaced imediately. Also the service engine light will not go out, resetting it doesn't work. The trip timer doesn't work. I suspect those two are related. I am going to have that looked at this week.

An update, the service engine light/ trip timer have been repaired as of 2/24/11. This repair cost me $350.
The asking price is still $8000. Serious/ reasonable offers will be considered.
Thanks.

Please contact me for questions and pictures. Thanks Scott
