I understand you didn't buy it "through" eBay, but its the same car, just bought through craigslist instead. That is why the Ebay listing was probably ended early, because it was sold locally instead.

In the other thread when someone else asked about if it was the same car you bought that was on ebay as well, you said yes it was the same car, and you paid asking price, which I am guessing is 7k as per the ebay listing.

2000 citrus yellow mint condition wanted

But anyway... its your car now, you can sell it for as much as you want.

By the way, you can upload the pictures to a host such as www.tinypic.com and add the links here. I find that the easiest way.

thanks, 02insight. i'll upload per your instructions.

also, i didn't pay the E-Bay price since i didn't see it there until after it expired. ended up paying more (!) but them's the breaks. i just wanted it bad and now have found myself in a situation where i need to sell it or another vehicle i have.

once again, i'm keeping within the Insight community for a few more days and will then post on Craig's List for the masses. the people on this site know the rarity of the car and so can appreciate it much more than those just looking for a high-mileage champ.

I am just guessing though, that might not be the case. And if its not, then I apologize.
Thanks for the heads up. I can't tell if it's the same car but the AAA sticker does look the same in both the ebay pics and pics provided by the seller. This helps a lot.

i sure am getting an education! thanks for that. i'd read in this site that they were no longer available.

so, i guess you just can't trust everything you read.

by the way, did any Citrus Insights come with AT or were they all MT?

Can you cite where you read that they were not available? I know the tires were on short supply and on back-order at many places, but usually people were able to get them after some waiting.

The citrus color was only made in 2000, and only in Manual, atleast in USA. In the JDM market, they may have been available in CVT.

i can't find it right now and it may have been an old post where they were currently not available. and i'm happy they can be found, although i only have 14,000 miles on mine and plenty of tread left.

THIS SITE IS THE GREATEST! YOU GUYS ARE SO HELPFUL and i really appreciate all the corrections and information. i just downloaded a 180 page manual for the car which i'll pore over during the next few days.

by the way, i went to the Rostra site and they don't appear to have the cruise control any more. any hints?
