Default ---no longer available---- I2 Flip Key

---------Edit - No longer avaialable---------------

New uncut flip key (aka switchblade key) got off of ebay (search - honda insight flip key) paid $9.99 + $3 shipping..... will sell for $10shipped.

Just got back from the dealer where they wanted $25 to cut it (couldn't find the guy I talked to on the phone who said he'd cut it for free ) Anyway getting my beach key cut to stash in my wetsuit was a "need" and this was a "want" so PM me if you're interested.

Default 2011 Insight Flip Key from Ebay

Bought the same one from E-bay paid $35 to cut key. works in door but doesn't work in the ignition turns out the key is about 1/8" to short and won't allow the key to push in and turn. $48 down the drain on my part. At least you didn't pay to have it cut. also had to sand down the area near the panic button because it didn't fit in to well. reapplying the spring to the proper tension wasn't fun either but I managed to get it to spring back correctly after about 1/2 hour of messing with it.

Too bad you had that experience. Maybe you didn't know what you were doing?
Flip Key

Anyway I wrote the vendor and they said send it back for a total refund so that's what I'll do.
