Hi all i have a honda insight year 2001, tax and congestion charge exempt,hasnt been used for over a year due to a whiring noise from the clutch goes away when you put the clutch pedal down, started first time this week after charging the battery for a few hours and runs well. the car has done 95000 miles and before i put it of the road it hadnt long passsed an m o t and had new front discs and pads fitted.

Do you mean 95,000 miles? Not 9,500?

Any pics, is it advertised elsewhere. i suggest list it on autotrader and e-bay.

The noise issue is probably the ISB and or clutch release bearing or clutch plate roller bearing It's a cheap enought fix once gearbox is out/in bits.

There is lot's of interest in UK insights at present.
