I don't think the car has B391 tyres fitted and I understand only the two rear wheels will be available as the car was run up over a high kerb damaging the fronts. I'm trying to get a picture, does anyone live near weston super mare?

I did not mention ebay, as a stakeholder in the car, if you need something from the pool of parts in the future, you simply claim it for free
Sorry if my post was misleading, i like your idea. My reply was in response to Citrus Smoothies proposal

I guess no-one likes my eBay idea, fair enough! I am happy to go with whatever method of dividing up that you guys come up with. I will do my best to attend the breaking of the car. Now I have had more time to think, my wish list is as follows:

2 wheel centre caps (if not corroded)
Rear wheel spats
Wing mirrors
Steering wheel (if no airbag deployment)
Car mats
Rear shelf carpet

I don't think the above clashes with anyone else's wish list. This would be good to do if it all works out.

Mark Can you nip over to the fix auto yard in WSM then and get some photos of the car. they have had it in bits apparently to asses it for the insurance company so i'm not sure of present condition. Tell them you are attending on behalf of owner Bobby. Lets have your honest assesment once you have seen it.

Perhaps Malcolm you can get a quote from your mate from transport of vehicle from WSM to my house we may as well break it at my place. If we have say four of us for a day that should sort it. i'll provide bacon sarnies and tea and we can adjourn to local pub for lunch.

I like rainsux's idea of a pool of parts that are bought from the pool at a fair price, hopefully when needed rather than grabbed at the start like a bunch of vultures.
I don't need anything in particular, but you can count me in. When is the disassembly day likely to be?

Then whoever has the parts in storage gets lumbered with being the "parts dept". If we can all agree what we want then it's far less cumbersome.

Default Shiipping and parts

I have obtained a name and telephone number for a self-employed transporter to give an idea of the cost of transportation by lorry from Weston Super Mare to Thirsk.

The "trade price" for the above as quoted by a friend in the motor vehicle trade is about 80p per mile including VAT so I think we are looking at around £250.

If no one objects,
I would like:

ECU,BCM,MCM as a matched set of modules.

I would not mind having the cats and exhaust if possible

Ive got a quote of £200 to get the car back to the Midlands which could give a more central location. Just working on any potential storage options to compare ideas with whats on the table at the moment. Looking like that battery is gonna need a grid charge.
