Thumbs up Honda Insight 2001 IMA Battery & DC Converter

A friends perfectly running 2001 Insight was declared totaled by the insurance company a couple years ago so we saved the complete IMA battery system with DC converter unit. I was hanging on to it just in case my 2001 Insight might need it but it is running strong and after my recent inspection from Honda, it is going to be working for quite a while. So, instead of keeping the extra battery that I have no room to store, I am selling it.

I check out Honda Parts and you can buy them for around $900 after taxes. I'm selling this one for $590 or just make me an offer.

Be well. Cheers.

Rudy

The battery has been sitting for 2 years?

The battery MUST be gone through and tested or it will fail shortly after being put into service.

At the very least, it will need to be grid charged for ~48hrs before use. Is this a yellow or orange stick battery?

Just like leaving your insight out without driving it for months will kill your battery, the same goes for unused/uncharged battery packs

Do you have a picture of it? That picture is NOT of an Insight battery.

Contact me privately. We buy batteries that have been sitting and batteries that are bad, and we pay the shipping.
