Reason: Adding pictures
has any parts of this car ever been re-painted? From the pictures it seems the rear & front bumper look slightly a different shade than the rest of the body, and also it is missing the Honda emblem on the hood?

I don't believe so. The reason for this is because all of the vin stickers are still on all parts of the body. If it was, then it is in the paperwork. From what I remember, it was touched up because of scuff marks and so forth.
When i bought the car, I did realize the Honda emblem was missing, but didn't think much of it.
I get the feeling that you're price gouging, which I don't support. I understand that it's in excellent condition, with low miles..
FWIW, Private Party on an Excellent 2000 Insight is $7,000. I understand this doesn't reflect the changing market due to gas prices, but still. It's hard to swallow a $10,000 price tag when you can find them for 6-7k all day long.

I am selling because I am not driving it as much as i thought. I drive my GTR just as much and not saving as much as I would have thought on gas.
The reason for the price it is because 1. I'm expecting people to lowball me. My ultimate goal is to get 9k for it. 2. I am covering what I paid for it. 3. After seeing the market, people are asking 9k for a car with 117k.
I am starting to really wonder if this is a for sale section or an opinion section... Even the GTR forum isn't like this.
This is the for sale section of a discussion forum.
We are discussing the item you have for sale. There is nothing wrong with that.
Thanks for explaining your position, I do better understand now. Based on your "only owned for 2 weeks" comment, I got the impression that you were just trying to take advantage of the current market and flip the car for some profit. Sorry.
Good luck.
Edit: I noticed you said you're not saving as much as you would have thought.
Maybe we can help you realize the fuel economy you were expecting? What are you getting, and what were you expecting?

What i meant, as not saving as much, is that I am driving my GTR more because I am traveling locally and I bought the car for long distances, but I am just not traveling as far.
Here are more pictures, and yes the amount I am looking to get is $9000.
I just sold a 2000 Silver MT with 69K miles in Los Angeles for $9K.
Should have held out for my list price of 10,995, but cash buyer
was hard to turn away.
So OP's price is not unreasonable here in SoCal. Not a bad idea
to go a little high on asking price as you get a ton of strokers
that waste your time.
I don't understand why anyone should have a problem with someone selling for a profit. I guess that is not the case here, but what is the problem with that? I usually buy low and sell lower, but I respect people who can sell high. I'm jealous actually.
