Default 2000 Honda Insight ... time to sell

I bought my 2000 Honda Insight in 2001, and got a good deal because it had sat in the lot for almost a year (people were too afraid to try something new). I don't drive much, but on a trip to Tennessee I tried to go the whole way without filling up ... and could have done it, but my body couldn't take sitting in one spot for 18 hours (got 60 mpg on that trip).

The "IMA" is finally giving out after 11 years.

I had a vision of exhibiting the first hybrid car in a show in 2054 when I turn 100, but I don't think I can afford the repair bills to get me to that point (or the time to try and do the repairs myself). So I'd like to sell it to someone who could preserve a piece of history, the first car that stood up to the oil industry and made the statement that cars didn't need to consume outrageous amounts of gas.

I live in a walkable city that allows me to just use zipcar when I need it, and there are train and bus schedules that allow me to get everywhere else.

I'll gather together more details, including a price, as time allows. Should I post a picture?

Potential buyers need to know the amount of miles on the car, price, need to see photos, what has been done over the years --maintenance history, any accidents, if it's a salvage title, dings or dents, interior condition, any current or pending mechanical problems, etc.

OK, I'll work on getting all that information together. Thanks!
