Grid Charger - Want to Rent
I'm the new owner of a 2002 Insight (blue!).
It just threw an IMA 74 (P1446) code. What little I've been able to find on this code says it MAY be helped by a grid charge.
I've also read on this site that grid charging is, in general, just a useful procedure to preform for long-term maintenance of the car.
I'm hoping to rent a grid charger from a forum member to see if this corrects my error code before I undertake other, more expensive repairs.
I'm not really sure what a grid charger costs, or what is a fair price for a one-time grid charge or how long the charge takes or anything really since I'm a total noob. But I'm happy to leave a security deposit (or work out any other method that ensures the security of the charger) and pay a fair price for a one-time use.
I'm located in the San Fernando Valley area of California.
