This is unbelievable. I used to work with that guy. His car was sort of a legend at work.

I see the orange cable, was he able to squeeze the IMA motor between a 4 cyl engine and the oringinal tranny? That has to be a tight fit?

that seems like a good deal at less than 10k. I think LHT usually takes around 20k for doing a k swap.

But I am sure his will sell very quickly (if not sold already). It is getting great coverage on the internet.

What would this be worth in the resale value be 5 years down the line? Any ideas? Isn't the engine just like 3-4k with the miles he has on it?

Funny, I just saw this on the other forums I'm on.

There is no IMA motor, as far as I know?

Wonder what kinda fuel economy it gets?

Well I sent him a pm for stats like fuel economy and how the engine handles in the insight. Interesting car for sure but it goes again my idea of economy so i'm going to pass on this. For 6k though it would be something I'd be interested in messing with, but then again I'm a low baller.

He supposedly still gets ~55 mpg out of it on the highway.
