Still a daily driver, this 2000 Insight (citrus, manual, AC) has 169,000 miles. Replaced the O2 sensor and cat converter in April 2011. IMA battery assembly, ECU and inverter replaced under warranty at 131K miles. It has more than a few dings, dents and scratches and is in only fair condition inside and out. Newer 175/65/14 tires installed 5,000 miles ago. Aftermarket Alpine radio/CD player installed by first owner still works fine. Passenger side window replaced in March with OEM after someone popped it when parked in Philly. Has a few rattles—including heat shield-- and may be ready for a new clutch—it still has the original! Other known issues: hatch lifts shot, key transponder/receiver nonfunctional, trip odometer not working (I am relying on the FCD). Currently in Reston, VA but registered in PA. I am the second owner and put 106,000 rewarding miles on the vehicle myself but need more seats now. Current lifetime just over 56 mpg; it longs for the open road again. Asking $3900 OBO. PM if interested.

Can you describe how the key transponder/ receiver is nonfunctional but yet the car is still your daily driver?.... Normally, if this component is nonfunctional, you can not start the engine as it is a major part of the engine immobilization system. Also, did this problem occur when the passenger side window was broken (was it an attempted theft)?

When a battery replacement to the key fob did not make the remote work again I had Princeton Honda look at it during the next oil change. They told me that I needed to replace both the fob and the receiver in the car and I decided not to spend the money to replace them. I have never had a problem with the key starting the car. Now you have me wondering....
Window was broken and car rifled, probably because I had left an [open] Amazon box on my passenger seat filled with childrens books I was donating to a prison program. There was no attempt to steal the car--just a quick effective screwdriver pop of the window. Nothing was even taken and there was no attempt to steal the car. I don't think Philly thieves can drive a stick.
LOL - I had a Chevrolet Citation many years ago that got broken into in Philli. The AM/FM radio in a Citation fits no other vehicle. The Philli Police told me that every car on the street had been hit and radio removed as a test or challenge.
