Default Wanted: Under Body Aerodynamic Panels for 1st Gen Insight

Hi I am looking to replace some of my underbody aerodynamic panels. I accidentally hit a blown out semi-tire and my panels got torn up. I have a 2001 Honda Insight.

If anyone is parting out a car and has these panels and would be interested in purchasing them, please PM if you have any. I would like to save some money by not purchasing new ones if possible:

The parts I am looking for are:
71162-S3Y-000 Plate, Fr. Bulkhead (lower)
74101-S3Y-000 Fender, R. Fr (Inner)
74115-S3Y-000 Cover Fr. (Lower)
74119-S3Y-000 Cover R. Engine (Lower)
74169-S3Y-000 Cover L. Engine (Lower)
71110-S3Y-000 Straley R. Fr.

So basically I looking both panels that you have to take off to do an oil change, the front attachment for those panels to the bumper, a passenger side inner fender, and passenger side front wheel baffle.

Thanks!

Unsure if you're new to this site or not. If so, there are a few posts of folks parting out their Insights. You might be able to find them by searching this site for "parting".

I'd check out our Classifieds as well. I've poked through a few of the "parting out" listings looking for ideas and parts. This guy's been parting out his 2000.

Sorry to hear about the tire. Sounds worse than when I ran over a downed dear in my '86 CRX Si at night. The dear knocked my CRX out of gear, and then I heard rattling when I'd change lanes over the lane divider turtles. With daylight, I tepidly looked underneath to find only the fur on the sharp objects, and a hoof attached to my exhaust bracket by a tendon. Blech!

Best

Default Looking in Classified car's

Yep I have looked through quite a few of the more recent parting out car posts and the parts I am looking for are either already spoken for, or in too rough shape or missing altogether.

I called all the local salvage yards here in Minnesota but there were only two insights and both had been front end collisions so the underbody panels were ripped up. I am hoping that by posting early I might catch a new poster parting a car before the panels get spoken for.

Just thought of another source: the_flamboyant_seller on ebay.com

This guy has tons of parts. You might contact him as well about parts he doesn't have listed.

Hi, I've spent some time looking for panels in the past and not had very much luck-ended up w/one used and the rest new. Seems those panels are the first to go in a wreck...and salvage yards tend to ruin them when moving the vehicle around by forklift.

New ones are generally your best bet, I recently stumbled across a dealer in Texas that is offering free shipping on OEM parts.

Here's their web address Genuine Honda Parts : OEM Parts Direct : Prelude Parts : CRZ : CRV : Pilot Parts : Automotive Parts : Authentic Honda Parts : G1Parts.com

Quick shipping and cheapest price, even compared to Majestic - no handling fees.

Good luck!

Default Thanks for all the info

I will look into G1's parts this weekend. I also have a couple other feelers out on the parts.
