Default 2000 Red Insight - 5spd - A/C - 43k miles

I bought this Insight about a year ago as a replacement for my last 2000 Insight. It had 33k miles on it when I bought it with only one previous owner. It came with all the maintenance records from service at Phil Bachman Honda in Kingsport, TN (where it was originally owned and where I used to live). These records document regular use, at about 3k miles per year so you know it didn't sit for a long time. It has always been garaged.

It has a manual transmission, good, cold A/C, 4 speakers, keyless entry, and automatic climate control. It comes with the factory cassette player. The IMA battery was replaced in 2004 under warranty, about 30k miles ago.

The tires are Michelin high-efficiency tires (in the correct 165/65/14 size) with about 12k miles on them. I get about 5 fewer miles per gallon with these tires vs the Bridgestones that originally came on it, but its quieter and handles better with the Michelins. I put vented, slotted brake disks on my original Insight due to frequently warping rotors and I moved them to this car when I bought it. I have also added Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs, giving much better nighttime visibility. It is all stock other than that!

The car has two small door dings (one on each side). It also has three parallel scratches on the roof (the previous owner set a briefcase there once and it had three metal feet that scratched the roof when he slid it off). There are a few small rock chips, but they really aren't noticeable. Its in great shape, especially for a 2000 model.

I love the car but my needs have changed a lot and I'd like to have more seats and maybe room for a bike. I'd consider a Subaru Forester and/or cash as a trade. I have it posted for $12,500 on Craigslist. I'm not in a hurry to sell it, but I know thats a little high...I'm open to offers.
