advice needed before insight purchase

I am considering purchasing a 2010 insight LX with over 30,000 miles on it. It seems like a lot of mileage for one year and makes me nervous because the warranty would almost be up. Any thoughts? Should I resist the deal, since the price is less than 18,000, or go for it? I appreciate any words of wisdom you might have! This would be the newest car I have ever purchased and I would have liked more years under warranty.

I'd be more concerned with the "type" of miles than the number. A couple of things to check on: 1) get bluebook values from KBB & Edmunds and look at Ebay and Autotrader for comparable cars. 2) Check with Honda dealers about purchasing an extended factory warranty - when I sold Hondas it was possible to do so anytime during the original factory warranty. Salespeople don't like to share this at the time of the original sale because they don't get the commission$$$...
