I have a used 5 speed transmission for the 1st generation 2000-2006 Insights. I replaced mine as this one has the 2nd gear synchro issue. All gears work fine it just is difficult to get into 2nd gear. I drained the oil and it did come out nice and clear. This would be good to rebuild while still driving your Insight. It weighs around 60 pounds so it can be shipped in a box via fed ex. Im asking 200.00 plus shipping. Feel free to ask any questions, Thank you.
I am in North Carolina. Shipping would be around 75.00 to 90.00 depending on your location via fed ex. I have a nice heavy duty box this fits into perfectly.
Its a fair deal, I was finding core transmissions needing a total rebuild in the 400.00 to 500.00 range nationwide ay junkyards. I think they are crazy. If you mention this post it sure would be appreciated. I know this will serve the right person well, it just needs synchros and probably a input shaft bearing.
I can do a shipping quote to Ontario but need your address. Just PM the address to me. I have no problem shipping to Canada but I know it wont be cheap.
if the cost is way to high to ship to canada, i'm in Buffalo. So if we do a insight meetup around TO i could just give it to you there, or you could meet me on the way.
I'm just offering another option if needed.

Im sorry I dont have time to drive to NY. Im getting a lot of Pm's. At this point the first person to actually pay gets the transmission. Thats the only way to be fair.
Sorry i meant if Arron is buying the transmission and shipping is to pricey to canada, maybe to buffalo is cheaper. And i could complete the delivery as i go to a insight meetup.
just an idea, but it might be just as easy to deliver it to canada.
