Genuine Honda VALVE SET EGR 18011-PGM-020
This is for a USED working EGR Valve $40 shipped in the Continental US. The part is $246.25 at the dealer. I will include the original box and gasket.
When I bought my '00 Insight the mileage was low (around 48 MPG for a 5-speed). I did some research on this site and purchased all of the parts that could have contributed to the low mileage numbers. Because I commute a fair distance I decided to swap out the parts one at a time to see which part improved mileage. 1st I had the dealer change the fluids, transmission, and oil. No noticeable change in mileage. 2nd I had the tires inflated to 50 p.s.i. that brought me up to around 50 MPG. 3rd I cleaned the EGR plate and changed the spark plugs, that brought me up to 70.2 MPG.
I didn't end up needing the new EGR Valve, but I cannot return it. Therefore I have installed the new EGR valve on my system and have the old working unit.
I am selling the EGR Valve that was in the car. I don't believe it is the original. My car has 72K miles on it.
