2 5-speeds for sale / both 1 owner/ clean carfaxes / silver 138k / citrus 78k
I'm going to sell my two extra 5 speed insights.
A 2002 silver with 138k highway miles, one owner, all original paint, always maintained, no dents, good tires, brakes, everything. I just had it inspected and it has always been garage kept. The paint shines like it was new. Perfect seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, etc. It needs NOTHING!
My 2000 citrus was a one owner CA car, with 78k miles. No dents, all original paint, 90% tires (re92's of course; same with the silver 02 car,) Everything works perfectly, egr plate cleaned (on both cars,) new egr valve, plugs, valves adjusted, you can eat off the underside of this car! 4 speaker option from the factory, 6 cd changer from factory as well. Grid charger, etc, etc.
I have the silver 2002 listed locally for $8500, and I haven't listed the citrus anywhere else yet. I want $11k out of the citrus. I've also redone all 8 rims (both cars,) so no curb rash, peeling, whiteness, etc....Both look like new, always in the garage, even in the summer when not being driven. Clean and clear titles, no liens. Clean carfaxes.
The only reason I'm selling my "stash" is I'm going for a Tesla roadster next, and could use the garage space. Otherwise, I wouldn't be selling. These 2 cars are the cleanest, most problem-free insights you'll find for sale anywhere. They literally don't need a thing. I've gone through both cars thoroughly myself, and do all my own work. I know my prices are somewhat higher than the norm, but neither of these cars are your average insight. (The old saying, you get what you pay for holds true.) Did you refinish the wheels or did a shop do the work? If you did it can you provide us with your process? The cars and wheel look great I sure they will be taken off your hands quickly!
I refinished the wheels myself. I've done 12 wheels now. Excluding the time it took to have them dismounted and, once done, have them remounted and rebalanced, it took as little as 2 hours a rim, and as many as 4 hours per rim (depending on how much work they required.) For all those inquiring about the citrus, the silver one has to go first, before I can pull out the citrus. I need more garage space (or fewer cars!)
