Default WTT Truck for your Insight (VA)

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L v8, automatic, 105k mi. It's wired with a trailer brake controler.

We got it to tow a horse trailer but my wife has R-U-N-N-O-F-T. So I'm stuck with it and a financial mess that's keeping me from qualifying for a loan for a car currently. Otherwise I would keep it just for the utility of having a truck available for hauling.

I'm interested in getting a first gen insight for my daily driver.

Ha! Nice hat.

The truck is listed in my local craigslist for $6500 OBO 2002 DODGE RAM 1500 104kMi

I talked to a couple dealers about trading it in. But just can not give it away for half of what comparable trucks are advertised for locally.

But yeah I need to get out from under the fuel cost. I bought a scanguage and modified my driving techniques to where I can squeeze around 19 mpg out in mixed city/hwy driving.

I'm happy with it as a truck, but my situation would benefit more from an economic daily driver and/or cash for my lawyer.
