Wanted: suspension lower wishbone

Hi all, UK '00 Insight down with a bent drivers side (right hand side) lower wishbone. Does anyone breaking a car have this part they could sell and ship to me?

Or even aware of a breaker with it?

Takes months to get a new one from Japan

If your local dealer puts the part on the critical list with a customer waiting it usually only takes a week to come from Japan, have you actually tried to order one? If it says it's on "back order" that doesn't necessarily mean it will take months. I'll be surprised if there isn't one in stock in the european warehouse.

There was red one on e-bay months ago in a breakers yard someone will remember where or you could search on here for details they have been posted before.

The red one is the only one we are aware of in a scrap yard in UK AFAIK there was a blue one in scotland but that went to the crusher I believe.

I only have a passenger side one spare sorry.

I can't remember if anyone from the UK owners got the right hand side one from the car we broke last summer. They may chip in on this thread.

Thanks Peter. Can't see the breaker's one on ebay, maybe too long ago.

Hopefully someone who has a spare will chip in otherwise I'll have another go at the dealer.

Perhaps there is someone in the US that has a parts car still having this part. It seems a couple of people are currently selling all sorts of parts from a spare parts car and I would doubt this part to be already sold.

It may arrive quickly compared to waiting for Honda.

So from a US version Insight, it would be a passenger side lower suspension part.

I have one with 33k miles on it, from a 2004. Right hand side. I'll send you a PM and we can go from there.
