Default 2000 Insight for sale

Red, 265,000 miles, bad battery, has built-in grid charger, like-new tires high performance Michelin Pilot 185/60HR14, alignment reset to minimize loss of economy, clutch switch to disable regen and assist, 5 speed with crunch when downshifting into 2nd gear, AC works and blows cold, worn carpet and driver's seat. Very clean and complete with all undertrays, car is from NC but now lives in Ohio.

New front control arms and tie rods at 235,000 miles. Completely reliable, could be driven to California tomorrow.

Runs great even with the bad battery as using the clutch switch protects it from deep discharge, grid charger puts everything back to 100% for a time. Handles fabulously with the high performance tires.

$3500

Is that the clutch switch on the dash just under the window switch?

Bump. Not getting much action. Too much money? Make an offer. Too many miles? Sorry I can't help that other than to say the engine burns no oil between changes.

I'll forward your post to a pal who says he wants an insight...

the battery replacement cost is where I pause....
plus having a parts/fixer-upper one.

I can replace the battery, but then it becomes a $5000 car.
