Default 2000 Silver MT w/28k Original Miles

Hello All..

I am new to insights and this forum. Really kinda stumbled into it recently after a house relocation moved me ~60miles from my office, rendering the big Dodge Cummins a commuting liability of incalculable scale.

Searching the net for economical vehicles I came across this site, and shortly there after an absolutelty pristine 2000 Silver MT with 28,000 original miles. The car has the original RE92's that will be replaced this week with a new set. The originals still have plenty of tread, but the sidewalls have dry-rotted. The original owner had the battery pack replaced by the local honda dealer less than 2 weeks ago along with a full dealer service..

The car is basically brand new, save a few very minor exterior blemishes that appear to be a result of being bumped during storage. The interior is absolutely perfect, looks like it has never been sat in.

I have driven the car approx ~500 miles in the last few days and am getting the hang of driving it for economy, had a segment of 65miles today with Smpg of 68. Still a noob though.

To cut to the chase, I am evaluating my opportunity for profiteering on the car, I will never appreciate the vehicle as much as the true bloods here on the site.

That being said, I am willing to sell the car if the price is right. It is an absolutle premium specimen and the price will have to be in accordance.

If an agreeable price point is found, I will not be willing to transfer possession until I have recieved my copy of the title from the state of Texas. I bought the car in an all cash transaction so it should be just a matter of weeks.

I am a massive gear head, and the multitude of modification you all have engineered for this vehicle is extremely alluring, but before I begin modifying, I have to give opportunity to take a nice profit.

So if you are interested in a practically brand new 2000 MT with new IMA Pack and New RE92's, with ~28k miles shoot me a PM with a premium price offer, I get contact details to you and we can talk through it.

I will post pics later this evening, or PM your cell number and I can text some over.

If there is no profit to e had on the car, I will begin modifying and using the car as my daily work commuter shortly after the first of the new year.

This is not an auction site.

Please post the amount you are asking for the car.

Thanks for the guidance Eric. I am not running an auction but can certainly understand how it might appear that way.

I would like to respect the confidentiality of the transaction for both myself and any potential buyer who might not wish the value of his investment to be a matter of public knowledge. I do have a specific value I would like for the vehicle and am sharing that number privately with those who inquire. I would be happy to share that value you with you if you would like to ensure that I am giving the same information to everyone. You could then verify with any potential buyer privately.

Alternately please have a moderator delete the thread.

Ok. I'll start. I missed one very similar to this a while back for just under $7,000. Except that this one had a high end replacement sound system. Yours will be easier to pick up, so I will pay you $7,500 for it. Let me know how you would like to do the funds transfer and delivery.

$11k for the car, now with 29k miles and picking up ~120 miles per day.

Wow. That is a lot of money for a 2000 MY. Why so much?

Honestly don't wanna sell it.. Having too much fun learning to drive the car efficiently, but if I can make more on it than my expected 2 year ROI by selling to a true enthusiast I will do so.

Definitely! It's a keeper. They are worth much more than book value to those who know about them!
