Default wtb rear speaker grills

Looking for a set of rear speaker grills and the piece they mate with. Don't want the actual speakers.

I found a rear speaker kit on eBay once for ~$50, that is the way I got mine.

I do have an 04-06 colored ring & grill set that I might be willing to part with.

The old saying in car audio... friends don't let friends have rear-fill. The more speakers you have in a system that reproduce the same frequencies, the more difficult it is to get really good sound quality.

The only speakers you need in the back would be a subwoofer- either a single 8" or 10" is plenty sufficient. Focus your speaker-buying resources for the doors. Ideally a set of 6.5" components with separate tweeters. Not quite as good but simpler would be a set of coaxials (tweeter comes pre-installed in the center).

Two earthquake 6.5 SWS speakers arrived today....I just need the grill and grill back pieces and a grinder......I think you know what I am talking about.....

Same shipment had the Pioneer DNX9980HD receiver. I put new Pioneer door speakers in a few weeks ago.

Yep... just so long as your expectations are realistic. The most common cause of blowing speakers is a lack of amplifier power, not the other way around.

Good luck

I keep hearing this but it makes NO sense to me. How is having a lower powered amp any different from turning the volume down on a higher powered amp?

I usually keep the volume very low, maybe 2 on a 1-10 scale. I hope the receiver can directly power the rear speakers.

I have two from a blue 2001 parts car I just picked up. Say $35? I would have to quote you shipping from Canada.

They are the gray and not the tan color? What total would you be looking at for shipping to USA zip 60098? I do not want the speakers, just the grill and the piece that the grill snaps into.

I am waiting on a pm from Jeff on what he is asking as well, his are the newer tan color, I would need to paint the ones he has either gray or black.
