Thought I would share my experience with this belly pan since I changed my oil for the first time yesterday. I have a Fumoto valve and thought that I'd be able to run the tube from the valve to the oil catch with out removing the belly pan. It's possible but then you have to access the oil filter in front of the engine. So long story short I figured I'd just drop the pan and have access to everything. This was not as big a PIA as I thought it would be. Took maybe an extra ten minutes to remove and replace the pan. You can then clean the muck and mire that has accumulated since the last change. Overall I think this belly pan is one of the nicer mods you can make to an Insight.

Same here. I don't WANT to make changing oil painless. I could pay a lube place to do that. I have the Fumoto valve to preserve the oil pan threads. Otherwise, I want the opportunity to remove the pan and have a good look at everything else under the car. It's the right thing to do. Scott's pan is quick and easy to remove and replace. It also makes me smile when I see once more how utterly cool it looks!

Anyone have some before/after pics? Also, any improvement in Fuel economy? Some of the OEM under car aero stuff looks to get out of shape over time. THinking this piece should help in that regard, even if only to a minor degree.

Hey there, I'm rather new to the forum but I discovered I don't have the main belly pan (I didn't have the front strakes either but I just got those from Majestic Honda). Is it possible to get on the list still?
