Could you tell me where the links have gone to the Insight knowledge, encyclopaedia etc that had pictorial links across the top of the opening page?

No Hijacking, Hi! I am the new admin. Have you seen the announcements I have posted and the FAQ? By the way, the links you guys are looking for are on the homepage now.

Thanks Nadeem for the reply. In good faith, and out of thankfulness for all that insightcentral.net has offered me over the last several years, I have now become a paid member.

2. DONE!
Wonderful!! Thanks for the speedy work. I can personally say that I prefer separating the two generations very much!

3. I will consult with some of my photoshop guys to see if we can make it more equally representative of the 1st gen. and the 2nd gen. Insight. What would you think of having a banner competition? EDIT: We will add another picture of the 1st gen and remove one of the second gen pics.
Thank you! Again I appreciate the fast response and also the new administrator's responsiveness to the user's suggestions. I look forward to seeing the new logos and hope that the new logo will have a 1st generation picture comparable in size to the current large 2nd generation one.

Cheers,
Bryan

Also, I have addressed the bug about the posts showing up in the wrong order. We did the following: It was set to do the sorting alphabetically based on thread name. I forced an update which set the default sort order for all forums to "last post" descending. Should be in order of new to old now. Cheers!

Someone is making some money here and we now have to put up with the crap ads. I would happily pay not to have all the ads (can that be part of the lifetime membership!). Its a backward step for the forum. Can we have the old site back and charge the membership fee.

Regards
John

The lifetime membership does allow you to turn off the ads. Did you look at the FAQ? The simple explanation is there. If you would like something more detailed, email me directly at nsyed@autoforums.com and I will see what I can do for you. Thanks!

You can also look HERE for more info on the membership packages.

Default Don't have the bandwidth to view new site

I suppose nothing can ever be left alone, it must be bigger and flashier. As some of you may have noticed from my postings, I live in West Africa. The new site takes a lot longer to load so it's not as attractive to me as it was. Adblock plus helps greatly in this regard, so I'll be checking in to see how it goes, not as frequently as before though.

But it's not just the ads and the images and general bloat, I object strongly to sending my browsing history to specificclick.net . (I noticed several items in the URL that was sent to them when examining the pages). I suppose they will try to use it to target ads for me. I'd like them to put those ads some other place, if you know what I mean.

Regards, Jim
