Default May we have Regional sub-forums?

I am new on this forum. May I know where to find sub-forums categorized in regions or states. I hope to get more info from local Insight owners about deals, events, etc.

You wouldn't need regional sub forums if everyone would fil out their "location" in their profile, includeing city and state. (One of my biggest complaints)

The idea of having regional sub-forums is because it is more convenient to discuss what's happening (or going to happen) in the neighborhood.

When people setup meets, hangouts, etc, that would be easier for users to jump quickly into the correct region(s). Just my $0.02

IMO simply not enough volume of posts to justify further sub division. i.e. having to scan through many posts to find what your looking for. It would simply trade scanning through too many sub forums for bits of valuable information.

As Willie stated simply include your "region" in your profile or "regionalize" the post in its title.

What would be really nice would be if you could tell a Gen 1 topic from a Gen 2 topic without having to open it!

I agree with Insightful, there is a forum for Socials and Events and the Lounge, so just put your region in the header of your thread.

BOB4STEW have you checked with Ron of Hybrid-battery repair sponsored on this site? I believe he is in your region.

They are already separated into different sub-forums... and if you click on the new posts link ... on the right hand side it tells you where that thread / post is located... 1st-Gen or 2nd-Gen.

What screen are you looking at that lists posts but doesn't give this detail? ( got a link ? )

Active topics, no clues...and in the New posts you've got to remember the difference between MPG Issues/Honda Insight MPG, Problems and Troubleshooting/Troubleshooting and Problems, and Modifications and Technical Issues/Modifications and Technical Discussions. They are NOT labeled Gen 1 and Gen 2 except for the Honda Discussion forums.
