Welcome back...
We were very pleased to "find" InsightCentral early last year, right after we purchased out silver 2001 CVT (#2554). My beloved fell in love with the look of the Insight before she knew anything about it, and after a brief test drive, I purchased it for her (and for me!) with no hesitation (it's a Honda, right?). No kiddos, so 2 seats are perfect for us. So far, it's been on two longish trips from the Dallas area (#1: NM, AZ, UT, CO [yes, up Pikes Peak, in mid-May, 2002], KS, OK, and back to TX) (#2: AR, TN, VA, DC, MD, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, last Thanksgiving week). Most of our additions to the little bullet have been inspired by InsightCentral (Rostra Cruise, better radio/speakers, et al) although others have been added due to my paranoia (radar detector, GPS). We don't really use it much (two other vehicles, and waiting for the New Beetle Convertible to come out with the turbocharged mill), so it does sit in our garage most weekdays. LMPG: 54 on <~11,000 miles, mostly fast highway cruising, the A/C on econ. has never been turned off. What a fine little piece of machinery!
