We won't name the site because of our "no bashing" policy (which apparently other sites don't think useful)
but it has been brought to our attention that rumors have been circulated stating that our site is "going down the tubes." We wanted to assure you this is not the case.
It has also been stated that we lost "quite a few posts" when our site "was hit." In actuality, our site was not "hit" but we made some major sever changes that required taking the site offline, as we had announced here a few days prior. We also perform frequent forum backups and our last backup was from hours (not days, weeks or months) before we had to take the site down in order to perform the upgrades... meaning as few posts were lost as was humanly possible.
As you all know, InsightCentral.net is a site created for Insight owners by Insight owners. Unlike some sites that intend to make money by asking for donations or selling merchandise, InsightCentral.net is run by a team of volunteers who have a passion for the Insight and alternative fuel technology - we have never sought to be a commercial enterprise.
