2) Refurb alloys, new centre caps
3) Replacement door mirror or plastic repair if I can't source one
4) Minor respray of front bumper

Looking forward to the ownership and so far its a great car, avg of 80 mpg.

Certainly beats my CL500, which I also bought because of the technology but that avgs 18 mpg.
Be sure to update us on progress as it's made.

And they never respond to questions. Great way to sell a car.

It's a shame really as I quite fancy a super lithium tweaked CVT to play with after having worked on the rally car, plus I need access to one to get the data from the HDS for the CVT.
I don't fancy driving miles to be met by someone unwilling to negotiate I bet he won't drop the price much. I would say ~£2000 is probably about right for it assuming it is complete and not bent. Assume a bad IMA battery as standard.

What do others think?

My two cents:
Since I bought his blue one.... I drove both of them
IMA light was not on but I believe batt is soso he used the blue one
To travel the country and I saw the lifetiemme
Mpg on that one. It has the srs light on you def can sort that one out with a reset and CEL was on, he has a obdIIreader
But software didn't work you can bring ur own reader and hook it up.
Prepare the car is not serious maintained well I got mine it look like a shed inside see the state of my car
During my service oil was black and airfilter was black too

U get a dab radio with it and my bet is you can knock at least 500 off and keep on nagging on all the things come across as an amateur Insight lover
And keep on saying you have to spend money on this and that downside is he looks like he is well off a big house and waits for someone who wants the insight badly without some know how.

Dashboard was converted to MPH

Test the hell out of it and show him the "bill" of all the costs
And be negative abt the car, only plus what I can think of is low mileage
But saveable

I'm still dealing with a p1449 and maybe a p0420 (gone after the service)

There is a bid on the red UK one now, hmm a bit fishy if you ask me. Why wouldn't you ring him and negotiate a sale off e-bay. That never happens of course.
