May have overpaid a little at $10,100 but considering the low mileage and west coast location I took the plunge. The Honda dealer in Prescott AZ has had a few of these over the years but they always wanted $10k plus for each with high mileage and no recent battery changeout.
This is a one owner, new battery, new tires non-smoker vehicle that has been well maintained.
It looks beautiful. I watch most of the ads and this looked like a winner. I had already noticed you bid only once at the end. Good job! Congratulations!
Nice car! If you drive a lot, then you will save enough money over a gas guzzler to pay you back for the car eventually. This low mileage is hard to find.

YMMV and YSMV... Your Mileage May Vary and Your Savings May Vary.
If you go from a Ford F150 truck to the Insight and go from 15 mpg to 60 mpg, and you drive 30,000 miles a year, your saving will be more than someone who moves from a 32 mpg Toyota Camry and drive only 15,000 miles per year.
Plus there is the $/gal variable as well.
I'm too lazy to do the math, but you get the idea.

Mine had 66,000 miles on it but is in about the same condition. I paid $3500 plus tax, tag and title. About $4000 drive out price. Mine is a 2000 MT model however.

This actually sounds like a pretty fair deal, you could have waited months for a better deal and ended up settling for much less. You also need to consider the current gas prices, they have a direct affect on how these cars price up.
I bought an '02 CVT in October of '09. Battery is still original, couple dings but not bad. 46,000 miles of mostly short trip city driving (which ain't the best). I paid $8,300 at a time when gas prices were under $2.50 a gallon in the midwest. Even with a few more miles you're not sweating the battery change out, wondering if it will hit before or after it's 10 years old! Oh yeah, you didn't end up with a red one either!
