Default UK CVT Insight on ebay

I have just listed my Insight on ebay.
The link is eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
I would be pleased to answer any questions about the car or arrange a viewing in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Use my email address jim.fell@googlemail.com, this forum or ebay as you wish.

Having known Jim for over ten years I can tell this will be a good buy for someone in the UK as he is an electronic guru and knows his stuff. !!

Watching this closely, considering a bid on it, I just like the black.

It might be the only black one in the country.

Problem for me is it's not tax free and I'm a tight arse and don't want to pay £120 a year

I did see a UK spec black Insight years ago parked in Carshalton. I believe black may have been available for a short time here. The only down side of the one I saw is that it had part bright orange seats!

However I agree that this eBay example is tempting and may point it out to a friend.

Default Black Insight in UK

Honda had a Black. or near black Insight on the UK fleet, it came up for sale at Chiswick Honda around 2004, Sales let me see the V5 and vehicle condition reports, it was an employees car and had covered a fair mileage, Honda sales condition 'B' requiring significant remedial work before sale. Perhaps the employee had specified the colour and they supplied as a special order.

I'm 99% certain it had manual transmission, the black paint was ingrained with road dirt giving a sorry blue-black uncared for look, the orange seats a visual disaster.

Only a few weeks ago I saw a similar car with an expensive personal plate being driven across Waterloo Bridge London, perhaps it is the same car.

Jims black CVT looks very nice with the grey seats and gleaming paintwork, I hope it goes to someone in the IC "community"

Somebody got a real bargain there. My limit was £2500 as I need to keep some funds in the Ferrari account......

The winner might be our own E27006 who was thinking of bidding. Not a bad price but need to factor in a new battery though as i told everyone who e-mailed me about it.

Default Black CVT

Regret it was not mine, returned home late and had a go at bidding during the last minute the winner upped the bid and then it was over.

I feel quite miffed to lose this car.
