This is a covering for the existing part? If so, what's the point?

If you could make replacement parts, though, I would consider a replacement hatch. Mine was damaged when I was rear-ended. Although it still works, it was slightly bent, and all the glass broken out. I'd thought of replacing the heavy glass with fibreglass or carbon fiber, with just enough of a rear window to be legal.

Ya, carbon coating is a little lame... I mean, just carbonizing for looks...

If you could Fab REPLACEMENT parts, that would be sweet. There could be a mod market for carbon replacement parts. Hood, front air-dam, front fenders, wheel skirts would be pretty easy, but it would be more for looks then wieght savings.

I am more into a custom carbon lower air damn block for my winter radiator mod. A HD foam the sit flush with the outer dam, coated in Carbon-fiber would be tight!

A Custom double DIN center dash console would aslo be sweet in black Carbon fiber!
